“CDMA or Code Division Multiple Access is an advanced technology that permits high-volume communications in a small area, with limited interference from other traffic. It was originally designed for military communications applications in rear areas.”
CDMA TECHNOLOGIES
The world is demanding more from wireless communication technologies than ever before as more people around the world are subscribing to wireless. Add in exciting Third-Generation (3G) wireless data services and applications - such as wireless email, web, digital picture taking/sending, assisted-GPS position location applications, video and audio streaming and TV broadcasting - and wireless networks are doing much more than just a few years ago.
This is where CDMA technology fits in. CDMA consistently provides better capacity for voice and data communications than other commercial mobile technologies, allowing more subscribers to connect at any given time, and it is the common platform on which 3G technologies are built.
CDMA is a "spread spectrum" technology, allowing many users to occupy the same time and frequency allocations in a given band/space. As its name implies, CDMA assigns unique codes to each communication to differentiate it from others in the same spectrum. In a world of finite spectrum resources, CDMA enables many more people to share the airwaves at the same time than do alternative technologies.
CDMA MONITORING SYSTEM
Purpose: CDMA Monitoring System "SCL-5020 C" (further system) is intended to ensure interception of voice conversation and service information in CDMA (IS-95A, IS-95B, CDMA 2000-1x) cellular network.
System Type: To prevent detection of the system's operation and avoid interference to the operation of cellular network the System works as a passive equipment intercepting data directly from the air.
System Basic Function: The system is able to monitor 4 base stations simultaneously working at the different frequency and Pilot-PN
The system should be able to ensure the following functions:
- Automatic search for used CDMA cellular network frequency and logic channels.
- Evaluate base station signal quality and level.
- Fix and record information sent in service channels.
- Record and playback audio information (messages).
- Determine subscriber's real phone number or ESN during his registration in the network and call.
- Determine real calling phone number (if mobile phone subscriber has caller ID function).
- Monitor and record incoming SMS.
- Determine time of the beginning of conversation & also determine duration of conversation.
- Ensure search of target subscriber according to air number.
